More pictures

Back to the blog... Here are some more favorites from the last few months: Ella and Paul watching the Super Bowl, Ella eating cookies at her Valentines party (yes, she too is covered in frosting), visiting with my friend Ellen and her new baby Katy Ann, posing with her Mother's Day Out Teacher, and posing with her cousins at the Easter egg hunt in College Station.

And finally some pictures of our strawberry picking adventure at the beginning of the month, followed by Ella and her friends eating their very first s'mores on our camping trip 1.5 weeks ago.

We have had the opportunity to do lots of fun things lately, and one picture per event just doesn't really do justice to the fun we have had. On the other hand, I would never get them all posted if I tried. These were some of my favories... and now I am caught up!

Photo dump!

Wow, I did not realize how easy it is to add pictures. Sorry for so many at once, but I have to catch up!

First comes Ella helping build her sand box from Grandma and Grandpa, us with Chad and Shawna, Ella helping clean the grill, Ella with pigtails, and her first time in a helicopter.

And here are some pictures of the custom curtains Paul's mom made for us. They turned out really great! There are also some valances for the kitchen that we are hoping to hang this weekend.

Sorry for the sideways curtain picture, I'm still learning! OK, Blogger doesn't seem to want me to add more pictures right now, so I will take a break. More pictures later!

Construction zone!

Our home is a construction zone right now. We decided to enclose the loft/study upstairs and make it a bedroom (if you haven't been to our house in RR, there was an open study kind of like the one in our house in Houston). It still leaves an area for a separate small study (I am working in it right now). The project is almost done, and I can't wait! Everything is covered in dust (more so than usual!) and there is junk everywhere. I am looking forward to getting the room finalized - it will be the nursery, and getting everything else put back together. Once it is done, we will post some pictures.

Think pink again!

You may have noticed a subtle change in our blog appearance (ok probably not since we never update it and therefore you probably don't check it out that often). We had the big ultrasound today and the tech says we are having another girl, without a doubt! We had some boys names in mind from Paul's family, but now we need to work on girl's names. Ella's suggestions are Sally and Ellagail. Ella had also suggested "Daddy" if it was a boy, and why not, after all, he is her favorite boy!

Some prayer requests for our baby:
The placenta is currently under the baby. This is called placenta previa. We felt pretty confident that this was going to clear up by now, but it has not. Should it remain between the baby and my cervix, we would have to have a C-section 2 weeks before the due date. Please, pray that the placenta will move completely out of the way!

Also, most umbilical cords have 3 vessels, but this one only has 2. The doctor said the only concern is the baby's growth. As of now, she is exactly the size she should be for her age and everything is developing normally. Just pray that this steady, healthy growth continues!

Thanks for praying - we will keep you updated.
